Formation and development of the Print Media in Modern Ukraine in the sekond half of 80-th - 90-th years of XX century The dissertation is devoted to the complex research of the process of formation and development print media in Modern Ukraine during the last 15 years of XX century. The maine aspects of the formation Ukraine's state information policy and the creation of the national information spase has been investigated. Applicant summarized the role and meaning of periodical in development of democracy in Ukrainian society. In th thesis had been used the mostly unknown documents from Ukrainian Central and Regional Archives that reflect the history of the periodical.
