Essay

The оbject of research is development of Donbass social -economic sphere in the second of 40-th-end of 80-th of XX c. The basic tendencies of evolution of state social-economic policy has been analised. Development of industry and first of all basic region branches has been investigated. The changes in agrarian sector have been found out and the factors that had caused uneffective development of this branch have been deter mined. The forming of regions scientific potential has been reviewed and its role in acceleration of scientific-technical progress has been revealed. The leading tendencies of transformation of region’s social sphere have been defined.
