Essay

The dissertation presents the results of research of structural and functional state of bone tissue, of mineral exchange and calcium-regulated hormones in cases of chronic renal diseases in chronic renal insufficiency stage. The dissertation formulates a concept of structural and functional changes in bone tissue in chronic renal insufficiency. It is established four main variants of bone tissue's disturbances in chronic renal insufficiency that depend on degree of renal failure and type of calcium-phosphorus exchange dysfunction. It as proved that all types of osteodystrophy are associated with reduced bone mass and increased risk of fractures. Major factors of progressive bone losses in chronic renal insufficiency are established. The usefulness of different programs of complex treatment according to the variants of bone tissue's disturbances is substantiated.
