Essay

The thesis is devoted to the history of Ukrainian State system development in the period of feudal division. Replacement of the State organization forms and evolution of the political power institutions are traced, the study of the land-principality is especially attended. A model of the interrelations of princes with khans has been analysed.The author has come to a conclusion that the home State system was developing uninterruptedly in the period of appanage principalities too. It was not liquidated as a result of the Mongolian invasion thanks to the centralized efforts of the grand Lithuanian Dukes.
