Gnibidenko I. Socio-economic problems of employment and social defence of population in the agrarian sector of economy of Ukraine

Object – socio-economic processes of transformation of the rural population employment and social protection; objective – development of methodological and methodic fundamentals and practical actions on regulating the employment and social protection of the rural population; methods – economic and statistical, classification and analytical, systemic and structural, of functional analysis, scenario modeling and simulation; novelty – it is for the first time that the essence of employment and the principles of its space arrangement in the agrarian sector have been substantiated, the index system and the integral criterion of the rural labour-markets condition, which afford a basis for ranking the regions of Ukraine, have been defined; results – the structure of the regional program for the development of employment sphere has been determined and substantiated, the propositions concerning the perfection of the mechanism of social protection of the rural population have been elaborated.
