This dissertation investigates the organization, disposition and structure of the Soviet regime establishments for prisoners of war and interned in Ukraine in 1939 -1954. Researches are based on the archival documents and materials firstly available for scientific investigation and deal with preconditions, reasons, practical problems, features, forms and methods of the organization, functioning and liquidation of administrative structures, regime establishments and protected objects in system of the Soviet military captivity on the territory of Ukraine within the Second world war and the post-war period. In view of modern methodological and conceptual approaches out an international legal condition of a problem of war prisoners before the Second World War, doctrinal bases and position of the government of the USSR in this question are found out. Features of the organization, functioning, structurally functional reforming and liquidation of the camps, separate working battalions, special hospitals and places of war prisoners and interned on territory of Ukraine in 1939 - 1954 burials are discovered. The significant actual material as to the structure of administrative bodies, regime establishments and objects on the territory of Ukraine in 1939 - 1954, their disposition, number parameters is collected, processed and systematized in form of schemas and tables.
