Essay

The object of study – the Government-Church relations in Ukraine in 1917-1930. The purpose of study is the analysis of mutual relation in space "state authority – citizens – political parties - Orthodox Church " in Ukraine in 1917-1930, processes of occurrence, functioning and evolution of different models of this relation, revealing of their general and different features. The methods used in the research are: comparative-historical, problem-chronological, system-structural, logic, retrospective, statistical. The scientific- practical value of the dissertation consists in use of its theoretical ideas and conclusions by state authority - during the further improvement of the domestic legislation concerning the Government-Church relations, rehabilitation of Church as important social institute; by political parties - for specification of the program ideas concerning modern Ukrainian religious confession; by the teacher of higher educational institutions - for preparation of the appropriate courses. Thedissertation is devoted to Government-Church relations in Ukraine in 1917-1930. In dissertation the reasons of Orthodox Church dissent are analyzed as well as common features and distinctions of various church divisions, evolution of relations between government and church management structures.
