Dnistryanskyy M. Etbnopolitical Geography of Ukraine: Problems of Theory, Methodology and Practice.

Theoretical fundamentals of new trend in human geography have been represented: ethnopolitical geography, that includes conception of geographical basis of vital and political activity of ethnonational communities and groups, and conception of structural balance of geopolitical processes as precondition of their conflict-free development. Regularities of development of territorial ethnopolitical processes on global and regional levels have been discovered, model of methodology of study of territorial ethnopolitical interrelations in state has been designed. Historical geographical preconditions have been analyzed, regularities and consequences of interrelated of development of ethnographic and territorial political processes in Ukraine in 20 century have been suggested. Basic parameters and correlation in modern ethnogeographical structure of population of Ukraine have been detected, their main function have been shown. Structural functional peculiarities of state territorial order of Ukraine has beenanalyzed in geopolitical context. Human geographical peculiarities of electoral activity of ethnonational communities and groups have been detected. Conceptual fundamentals of state geoethnopolitics have been argued in order to attain balance in state and regional ethnopolitical orientations
