Object: the activity of youth organizations of Ukraine at the end of XX – the beginning of XX centuries; purpose: to discover the factors, which influenced the process of formation of socio-pedagogical potential of the youth movement; to ground theoretically the conception of socio-pedagogical activity of youth organizations; methods: analysis of sources, modeling, experiment; novelty: the conception of socio-pedagogical activity of youth organizations has been grounded; the conformities, main directions and forms of socio-pedagogical activity of youth organizations have been discovered; the classification of youth organizations has been worked out; the essence of the category “socio-pedagogical activity of a youth organization” has been grounded; results: socio-pedagogical technologies of managing the activity of youth organizations have been worked out and experimentally tested; field: social pedagogy.
