Object: training process of future teachers at higher educational institutions; aim: to define and substantiate theoretical and methodological basis of the forming process of future teachers' readiness for innovative professional activity, to design the technology of innovative teaching of tertiary level students, its experimental approbation; methods: analysis, modeling, experiment; novelty: theoretical and methodological basis is defined for the first time, the technology of forming of future teachers' readiness for innovative professional activity is designed, the problems of defining notion and terminology system of the research, levels and criteria of future teachers' readiness for innovative professional activity are left for future research; results: the technology of innovative teaching of tertiary level students of pedagogy, special courses and educational and methodological supplies.
