The investigation object: late postnatal ontogenesis of human heart drainage system. The investigation goal: structure peculiarities shaping of major and minor ways of bloodflow in mature, old and senile human heart. Methods of research: anthropometry, description, section, preparation of corrosive samples of heart blood vessels, blood vessels injections, preparation of histological semithin slider, morphometry, variative statistic method. The theoretical and practical importance of the received results: the received data deapen and broaden the present-day imagination of venous system topography peculiarities and all possible ways of bloodflow from human heart and pericardium, which is very much important in understanding pathogenesis of a number of heart diseases. The result of doctoral thesis can be used as a morphological basis to asses the ways of bloodflow from the human heart while performing coronarography and using the received results in clinical medicine. The quantitative data received in theinvestigation can help from the mutual morphoclinical classification of bloodflow ways in human hearts. The scientific novelty of the investigation results: the peculiarities of heart drainage system, including ways of structure and forming drainage system in postnatal ontogenesis were studied and put in the system for the first time ever. The changes and the ways of formation of the heart blood outflow were viewed in people of mature, old and senile age. Qualitative characteristics of blood outflow from human heart in certain age-groops were represented for the first time. The ratio of major and minor ways of bloodflow from human heart and pericardium was determined. The degree of implementation: the results of the research are implemented in the educational process at departments of human anatomy of Kharkiv, Bukovin, Donetsk, Lviv, Lugansk, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Ternopil State Medical Universities. Branch of usage: medicine, anatomy, histology, clinical medicine.
