Essay

The dissertation is devoted to a scientific substantiation and development of new more reliable and authentic mathematical models and calculation methods of gathering - distributive systems in water constructions. New porous backwash removal designs of rapid filters and tray polymer concrete drainage with variable section on length which allow raising efficiency and reliability of filter work are offered. Mathematical models of polymer concrete drainage and porous pipes which work in conditions pressure and gravity modes are constructed by use of the analysis of fundamental regulations about liquid movement in gathering - distributive systems with the variable charge on length. More advanced techniques of their calculation and the design data optimization, based on the step-by-step method and use of iterations on personal computers are developed. Laboratory and industrial approbation of porous pipe backwash removal systems of open and pressure rapid filters have confirmed reliability of mathematical models and design procedures.
