Object: a process of the social-pedagogic work with children and students; goal: to define the special features of community social-pedagogic work, to theoretically justify the conceptual framework of such work at the local level; methods: the analysis, modelling, observations, survey; the novelty: for the first time, the special features of community social-pedagogic work are described; a local community is regarded as a socialization space for the life activity of children and youth; a concept of the social-pedagogic work with children and youth locally is substantiated; results: astructural-functional model of setting up the community social-pedagogic work is designed as well as a specialized course and the trainings; a field: social pedagogy.
