The dissertation systematically studies the methodological approaches to understanding the processes of European and Euroatlantic integration of Ukraine, determines geopolitical and historical causes for European and Euroatlantic orientation of the country, covers political and legal bases for European and Euroatlantic choice of Ukraine, formulates the essence of challenges in Ukraine’s cooperation with the European Union, namely the ways of adapting the Ukrainian legislation to the EU law, determines and describes systematically the main approaches to the issue of cooperation with the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation.
