Bondarenko O. The Ukrainian economic mentality: social-philosophical analysis

Formation of a category "mentality" in history of social philosophy and at the present stage of researches is investigated and analysed. The importance of studying of the public phenomena through a mental phenomenon is proved. Economic mentality as specific subsection of a mental phenomenon is outlined. The toolkit from socially-philosophical and generally-philosophical methods necessary for research of a parity of principles of individualism and collectivism in structure of economic mentality is developed, their historical sources, borders and prospects are traced. The factors favouring to formation of features of the Ukrainian economic mentality are described. Evolution of economic mentality in history of Ukraine is traced. The comparative analysis of modern Ukrainian and West European economic mentality is given.
