Essay

The object of study – mnemonic system in structure of personality. The purpose of study is to carry out theoretical and empirical research of laws of functioning of emotional memory in borders of complete mnemonic system in structure of personality and to prove conceptual model of such functioning. The methods: the theoretical-methodological and historical-genetic analysis, generalization, ordering; supervision, conversation, testing, laboratory experiment; correlation, factor, claster, dispers analyses, content-analysis, analysis of divergences. Novelty: the methodological and historical-psychological analysis of the concepts of emotional memory, created in a channel of different psychological schools and directions, is carried out; the structurally functional model of emotional memory as component of mnemonic system of the person, which carries out function of linkage of the cognitive contents of mentality with semantic educations of the person, is developed. The theoretical value of work: theoretical and empirical emotional components of autobiographical memoirs of the person are investigated, on the basis of that the age, sexual and individual-style features of emotional memory are revealed; the functions of emotional memory in different kinds (professional, educational) and at different stages (motivation, programming, executive, control-adjusting) of activity are systematized and empirically investigated. The practical value of work: the offered conceptual approach opens new opportunities at creation of diagnostic toolkit for realization of diagnostics of emotional memory, its functions and displays in professional, educational and other kinds of activity; the research is a basis for development of trainings on development of emotional memory, and also allows to specify the concrete tasks during individual psychological consultation and psychotherapy; the materials of research are used by the author during teaching courses "General psychology", "Differential psychology", "Theoretical and methodological bases of psychology", "Psychology of the person", "Psychology of family", "Psychology of sexuality", "Psychology of injuring situations", "Psychology of geront age", "Psychology of a higher school" for the students, graduate and post-graduate students of psychological faculties of higher educational institutions. The subject and degree of the introduction: the results of research are introduced into scientific-pedagogical activity of the Kharkov national pedagogical university named after G.S. Skovoroda, Kharkov Educational-scientific institute of the right, economy and sociology of National university of internal businesses, Donetsk juridical institute of Lugansk state university of internal businesses, University of civil protection of Ukraine. Efficiency of the introduction - high. The sphere of the use: higher educational institutions, psychological service.
