Essay

The dissertation deals with theoretical and methodological foundations and methods of human geography research in area of quality of life of the population. The basis of assessing the quality of life of population and typification of Ukraine's regions are developed: by key components - demographic and social conditions and social orientation of the economy, and by expanded pool of development indicators that include indicators of the economic development, of infrastructure and improvement of living conditions, resource intensity of the economy and environment, favorable conditions for socio-cultural development.
