Terkulov V. The composites of the Russian language in the onomasiological aspect

The object: the whole mass of the Russian composites. The aim: to define the onomasiological status of the composites in the Russian language, to work out the models for their structural and onomasiological description, first of all of the composites of the univerbal type. The research methods: distributive analysis, analysis of the dictionary definitions, onomasiological analysis within the terms of the onomasiological models, transformational, component analysis, formalization, descriptive. The scientific novelty: new classification of composites made from the point of view of their onomasiological status. New classification of the compound words of the Russian language and defining the univerbal composites as a separate unit demanded creation of the system of methods for their description, which found its realization in special methodics of their differentiation into onomasiological classes and models of univerbalization. The practical significance comes in the possibility of their usage in the university courses, which study the problems of synchronic and diachronic word-formation, onomasiology, semantics and lexicology. The worked out models of word-combinational transformation into compound words can be used in the systems of automatic translation and while creating or elaborating the programming languages.
