The main points of Ukrainian piano school of the 20th century in the context of theory and practice of musical education development are designated in the thesis. Its methodical context as single national, scientific pedagogical and self-sufficient phenomena has been proved here. Periods of the development according to the historical steps of scientific pedagogical thought, musical education have been identified. Scientific pedagogical status of Ukrainian piano school has been discovered and its structure on the base of importance of pedagogical potential of its leaders has been proved. Formation of the chief concepts in the system of general scientific cognition has been identified. Pedagogical principles of its functioning as a subject of international educational spaciousness have been determined. The heritage typology of the pedagogy of the famous leaders of Ukrainian piano school and its technological peculiarity have been grounded. Historical and analytical general project concerning studyingthedifferent musical schools has been worked out. Its suitability has been tested and tried out. Introduced conditions and factors of effectiveness of Ukrainian piano school, its infinitive development have been determined
