Palekha Y. Theory and practice of evaluation of territories value and land valuation of settlements of Ukraine (economic-geographical research)

Theoretically-methodological foundations and methods of economic-geographical research of settlements territories value are developed in thesis. The value of territory is observed on the base of differential rent theory as economic-geographical category. The main geographical factors that influence on value forming are disclosed, their evaluation is given and the typification of the towns of Ukraine on the integration of three main factors (population, geographical location and economic functions) is made. The practical questions of value application are observed in certain types of urban-planning and land-valuating actions: in normative monetary valuation, in expert monetary valuation, for investment attractiveness of the urban territories determination, in urban-planning.
