The dissertation presents a study of agricultural policy of the Bolshevik party and the Soviet government towards the West-Ukrainian peasantry in the 40-th - 50-th of the XX cen., specifically social-political and economical pre-conditions, stages and methods of the collectivization of the agriculture, the struggle of the peasantry and the national underground work against the establishment of the collective farm order, the personnel policy in the country, the technical equipment of collective farms, the structure of the agricultural production, its productivity, the financial conditions of the peasants.
