Essay

In the dissertation it's analyzed up-to-date problems of theory and practice of journalism, conceptual determinants, social and cultural factors, typological and dual dominants in Ukrainian national journalism from the point of view of genesis, modern experience in functioning and prospects in the context of determination the national mass media's roles in the circumstances of information globalization, national information of moral and ethical concepts and professional standards. Understanding the Ukrainian journalism as the range of facts and problems, it's efficient and generate ideas, functional parameters and meanings in social and cultural, geopolitical, national and mental sections is determined in the first place, by the systematization and analysis of well-known models of mass communication and journalism; in the second place, by successful quest of basics in versatile social and cultural model of Ukrainian mass media (by linking theories of cognitive conformity (balance - disbalance, consonance - dissonance, information - misinformation), substantional character of information; in the third place, by the increase and elaboration of social and cultural models of journalism and theirs prevailing aspects-factors.
