History as naturally civilization process which becomes the article of socially philosophical research on the example of Ukraine ХІХ - ХХ ages is analysed in dissertation, taking into account the previous stages of historical development. The philosophical comprehension of history of Ukraine of this period opens up as overcoming of lack of development of many methods and approaches of study of domestic history, development of the system of the view-valued researches about modern Ukraine and its future. Theoretical generalization of socially philosophical interpretation of history of Ukraine is carried out as to unity world and national historical processes. Ascending principles and methodological foundations of research of the modern stage of development of world and domestic history light up. On the basis of modern philosophical historical conceptions of development of civilizations certainly priority directions of modernization of Ukrainian society. With application civilization, system, structurally functional, sinergistical, transformation approaches the analysis of reasons of origin of conflicts situations is in-process carried out and directions of their overcoming are certain. The modern state of historical education is examined and concrete recommendations and suggestions are formulated in relation to subsequent assertion and development of the national system of historical education. The theoretical and practical value of the got results and possibility of their use is rotined for subsequent scientific researches.
