Essay

Subject of research - the regularities of manifestation of economic characters in rhizocarpous chicory plants at microclonal multiplication and details of obtaining of haploid and homodiploid sugar beet lines in vitro. The aim - the breeding process technology improvement for the solution of problem of the development of parent material of rhizocarpous chicory and sugar beet by means of the biotechnological link use. The methods are bitechnological, phisiological, cytological, agroecological, field, statistical. The regularities of passing morphogenetic processes in isolated plant culture of rhizocarpous chicory are established, the biotechnological methods of reproduction, preservation of genetically stable its initial form and induction of changed ones are devised; the biotechnological practised of obtaining haploid and homodiploid materials and homozygoticsugar beet lines when stimulating haploidy are improved. The new parental breeding material rhizocarpous chicory and sugar beet is obtained and also paternal components of heterotic beet hybrids Avtorytetnyi, Rus 3 and Agrarnyi are developed. Introduction - the developed parental breeding material are used in investigations of the Institute of Root Crops of the UAAS, Mazlumov All-Russian Institute of Sugar Beet and Sugar of the RAAS, Verkhnyatska Research Breeding Station of the Institute of Sugar Beet Growing of UAAS and All-Ukrainian Research Institute of Breeding. The field of application - the breeding institutions, agricultural production.
