Soroka Y. Population of West-Ukrainian Lands in Ethnopolitical and Demographic Dimensions (1939 - 1950).

The thesis is a well-rounded, detailed and systematized research on ethnodemographic processes in the western regions of Ukraine covering the years 1939-1950, changes in the population ratio concerning its structure and composition, its social, cultural and spiritual development, the participation of people in social, political an economic life and in the Resistance movement in Ukraine. The research has been carried out with due regard to a wide range of documents, some of which have not been made known to the public up to now; the works of Ukrainian and foreign researchers, as well as the results of the author's own studies have been thoroughly considered.
