Sukhonos V. Public Prosecution in the Mechanism of Ukrainian State: the Problems of Theory and Practice.

The dissertation is devoted to the public prosecution role and place in the mechanism of modern Ukrainian state, to the trends of its existence and development in future. Having taken into account the necessity of the state development and European integration wishes, it is defined the list and nature of public prosecution functions, the forms and methods of public prosecution bodies and its officials. Structural relations in the system of Ukrainian public prosecution, interrelations and interaction with the bodies of legislative, executive and judicial brunches of power are under analysis. It is grounded the autonomy of public prosecution system and the necessity of its preservation in Ukraine until the stabilization of socioeconomic and political situation in the state. The recommendations for the improvement of legislation and other norm acts concerning public prosecution and practice of its application are given in the dissertation.
