Kotenko O. Theoretical and experimental substantiation of the formulation of the bee pollen lipophilic extract and medicines based on it

The complex research in scientific substantiation of the formulation of a new substance of the bee pollen lipophilic extract with the reparative and anti-inflammatory action and medicines based on this extract has been carried out for the first time. Bee pollen has been studied and standardized as the raw material for obtaining the lipophilic extract. The optimal conditions of the lipophilic complex isolation from bee pollen have been determined by the liquefied gas extraction. The chemical composition and properties have been studied, standardization of the bee pollen lipophilic extract as a substance for pharmaceutical application has been performed. Based on the bee pollen lipophilic extract a cosmetic cream for dry skin and Lipovit ointment for treating the second phase of the wound process have been developed. A high reparative, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial activity of Lipovit ointment has been proven by clinical trials.
