Kryvda N. Ukrainian Diaspora: the experience of creation of the culture.

In the paper the process of creation of the culture in the Ukrainian Diaspora in four waves of its history is analyzes. This process of creation is evaluated as a unique socio-cultural phenomenon within the national culture, which serves a dual function. On one hand, the process of creation of the culture is action as a separate set of general Ukrainian cultural process, and on the other it is reproducing the national cultural identity of Diaspora. Diaspora's creation of the culture shows that one of the cornerstones of national culture has been and remains today the definition of Ukrainian ethno-cultural identity and analysis of specific parts.
