Essay

In a given thesis it is defined and developed new acute scientific issue that hasn't got representation in a historic literature, namely composite theoretical and factographic analysis has been made of participation of Ukrainian diaspora in a process of independent statehood of Ukraine reestablishment in the middle of 40s - beginning of 90s XX century. In a given scientific work it is defined for the first time activity of Ukrainian diaspora concerning independent statehood of Ukraine was objective historic phenomenon caused by course historic process itself and by events in the world. Struggle for independent statehood of Ukraine became national idea of foreign Ukrainians and the main goal of their organization activity. For the first time is developed Ukrainian expat community activity periodization concerning independent statehood of Ukraine. For the first time is emphasized and analyzed complex of political, socio-economical, military, international, ideological and moral- psychological reasons that determined independent statehood of Ukrainian diaspora activity. For the first time it is defined holistic structure of national-state unification of Ukrainian diaspora. It is traced its development and transformation and also interaction between its component elements- organization of expat community concerning struggle for Ukrainian statehood. For the first time it is concluded about the influence of international status in the world on Ukrainian expat community activity who was trying to use world political processes for the sake of struggle for independent statehood of Ukraine correspondingly forming structure of their organizations and priority of their activity. For the first time it is defined systematically international activity of foreign Ukrainian organizations aimed at achievement of independent statehood of Ukraine and its following joining as a full member to United Europe. It is concluded about formation of foreign Ukrainians a system of international organizations who united emigration representatives of USSR and countries of Central-Eastern Europe for the sake of common struggle for independent statehood of their countries consolidated influence at this very question on government authority of West Countries. For the first time it is investigated international-information politics State Center UPR and its interaction with European movement, Paris coalition, American committee liberation Bolshevism and also radio station "Svoboda" and Institute of studying history and culture of USSR. For the first time it is represented scientific, educational and cultural activity of Ukrainian expat community in a context of struggle for democracy and independent statehood of Ukraine. It is cleared up that struggle of Ukrainian expat community for revival independent statehood of Ukraine demanded independent scientific-informational guaranteeing with purpose of getting support from government authority side, scientists and community of western countries. For the first time it is systematically represented complex of international-informational companies stock of Ukrainian expat community the purpose of which was to attain support of Western countries for independent statehood of Ukraine by means of popularization national history and culture and compromise of politics government authority of USSR concerning Ukrainian nation. It is proved that middle 40s- beginning 90s XX century became the time of scale international-informational campaign of Ukrainian expat community aimed at protection of people's rights, propagation in Western countries truthful history of Ukraine, compromise of Soviet authority and revival of independent statehood of Ukraine. For the first time it is represented scale remebial activity of Ukrainian diaspora and proved its great importance in the process of struggle Ukrainian expat community for democracy and independent statehood of Ukraine. It is traced influence of foreign Ukrainian community on the course and productivity of Helsinki process. It is proved that struggle of Ukrainian expat community for democracy in Ukraine essentially influenced on a statehood process in Ukraine. For the first time it is concluded thanks to Helsinki process foreign Ukrainians essentially influenced on international organizations and government authorities' western countries and USSR in questions of ensuring democracy in Ukraine. Later thanks to "Helsinki mechanism" they could influence on support opposition in USSR. For the first time it is traced cooperation of Ukrainian diaspora of western countries and oppositional movement in USSR. It is defined international, financial, financial-technical support by organizations of Ukrainian expat community the process of independent statehood in Ukraine. It is proved that financial, organizational and ideological-informational support of foreign Ukrainians contribute to rapid development and proactive activity of national-democratic force in Ukraine first of all National Movement of Ukraine, Ukrainian Helsinki Community and later Ukrainian Republican Party and successful hold of referendum on independent statehood of Ukraine December 1,1991. Its pressure on government authority of the USA, Canada, Australia and Western Europe in a great degree contributed to a position change and rapid recognition of these countries an independent statehood of Ukraine. It is offered practical recommendations as to the improvement of state politics of Ukraine concerning foreign Ukrainian hood and defined outlook of further scientific development of the investigated problem and new aims that are connected with it.
