The thesis is a complex scientific research of the system of the State social insurance as a basic legal form of social defence of workers and office workers in Soviet Ukraine in the 20-30th of the 20th century. In the dissertation the theoretically legal principles of the Soviet social insurance are substantiated, its role and place in the Bolshevik doctrine of the social development are definied.
