Stoyan T. Political censorship in Ukraine in the 20- 30th of the 20th century

The thesis is devoted to the history of foundation and functioning of the party-soviet organs system of political censorship during the years of the new economic policy and socialist reconstruction of social-economic relations in 1930th. The politically-ideological functions of nomenclature bodies of Party and Soviet censorship, the activities of structural divisions of the People's Commissariat of Education of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic (State scientifically-methodological committee, Scientifically-pedagogical committee) have been systemically investigated; the basic stages of creation and development of the Central Administration of Press, Ukrgolovlit have been studied; common and distinctive signs of Marxist and literary criticism, using them as a method of systemic and functional censorship of creative literary and artistic process have been revealed; the ideological motives of the emergence of the phenomenon of ''social order'', self-criticism - the individual form of self-censorship among writers - have been identified.
