Essay

The appearance, formation and development of shipbuilding in Ukraine are investigated. Shipbuilding was analyzed on the wide historical background with the complex of the components: economic - the dynamics of the formation of handicraft-industrial complex, manufacture outcome both as separate centres of shipbuilding, and a branch in the whole; social-political - the influence of state reforms, wars, political crises, social shakes, raises on the state of the branch; technical - concentration of the newest samples of scientific, projective-constructive, technological achievements, that were realized in ships in shipbuilding.
