Essay

The dissertation presents a study of sources and conditions of forming of "ordinary chart" of Russia's history as a historical grand-narrative. Kyivan legacy is recognized to be the main source of Russian historical grand-narrative. Among other sources the theory about "Moscow - The Third Rome" of monk Philotheus and Moscow idea of autocratic power, formed by adding of Byzantine tradition to purely Moscow ideas about an orthodox tsar, are recognized and studied too. The work analyses the conditions of forming of Russian historical grand-narrative in "Post-Peter" Russia of ХVIII through the first half of ХІХ century and proves that its final authorship belongs to the state power, because the core of any philosophical and historical constructions in Russia is the state, and autocracy as the principle of undivided "authority" is acknowledged to be the "soul of Russia"
