3. The research is devoted to the problem of optimization of young team players' long-term training. It was found out that sport schools for young sportsmen in Ukraine often ignore the theoretical and methodical foundations of the training process in their practice. Best practices of young football players' training in France, Italy, Britain, Germany, Spain, Brazil and the USA were generalized and recommendations as for their effective application in the domestic system of sport reserves training were given. The research defines the priority methods of adaptation the main methodological approaches of cyclic disciplines to the process of young team players' long-term training. Fundamental theory of content and stages of young players training process (first, second and third stages) was grounded. The theory is based on consideration of the main factors in the process of skills formation in football, basketball, footzal; on the ratio of specific and non-specific training methods in the macro cycle; on the new technologies of training process individualization and an organism reaction of 6 - 18 year old sportsmen to different kinds of metabolic load. The application of information technology in sportsmen teaching on the first - third stages of long-term training is designed.
