Kopylov V. A Phenomenon of Epistemocracy: the social and philosophical conceptualization

The object of the research is power as a social phenomenon, complex in its internal architectonics and dynamics as well as in external preconditions. The subject of the research is epistemocracy as a form of power where knowledge is the main source of forming the guality. The scientific novelty of the research results is in the first attempt to develop: (1) a modern sociophilosophical concept of epistemocracy i.e. protoconcept where theoretical sources and conceptualization preconditions are listed and explaned; (2) an adeguate methodolodical matrixwhose substantial material brings out the new concept i.e. metaconcept; as well as (3) the fundamental principley themselves which present the essential aspects of epistemocrasy forming that is the frame of the concept. Epistemocracy is a form of power where knowledge is the main guality-forming source, intelligent people are the main social subject-symbol, persuasion is the main method of executing power, the truth is its sense and the society of knowledge is an adeguate social background.
