Essay

The dissertation work presents the experimentally proved and scientifically argumented conception of reasonable multi-lateral applying molecular-genetic information for intensifying the selection process. Together with the traditional zootechnological criteria for the animal pedigree value estimation, the method permits executing the directly targeted genetic selection, as well as the parent pairs selection in order to create high genetic potential herds with the higher milk productivity indice in the Ukrainian cattle breeding.
