Object - the theory of fabrics designing; the purpose - the subsequent development of scientific bases of fabrics designing on the basis of mathematical and geometrical modeling of elements of fabrics structure and processes of their formation on a loom taking into consideration their ergonomic and aesthetic characteristics and operating conditions of the products made of them; methods - methodology of weaving, textile materials technology, textile composite materials, the theory of elasticity, a friction and bend, mathematical and geometrical modeling; methods of integrated calculation, the theoretical mechanics, resistance of materials, physical modeling, regressive and the correlation analysis; results of research - a theoretical substantiation and experimental acknowledgement of the new concept of designing of structure and manufacturing technology of fabrics of household and technical appointment taking into account their ergonomic and aesthetic characteristics and operating conditions of the products made of them; branch of use - the light industry enterprises.
