The object of research: the establishment and development of aviation industry of Ukraine. Aim: comprehensive analysis of aviation of Ukraine in 1910 - 1980 on military and historical perspective. Methods: historical, objective, systematic and complex analysis, comparative-historical, problem-chronological. Theoretical and practical results: the evolution of the detected aircraft Ukraine organizational structure and specificity of its management at different stages, the features of the territorial structure of the industry under the influence of the military-strategic considerations the leadership of the USSR; rated content production programs aviation industry of Ukraine and installed them in the ratio of military equipment and civil applications.
