Shevchenko V. Land market of Ukraine of the 60-ies of XIX - beginning of the XX century.

Origin and functioning of the land market in Ukraine of the 60-ies of XIX - beginning of the XX century on the background of the general social and economic situation and of that period social and political processes are studied in this dissertation in complex . The results of the scientific researches of some generations of the domestic and foreign historians and economists who studied this issue are summarized here. Special features of the Ukrainian land market functioning in its separate districts (raion) and provinces (huberniia) are covered on the basis of the thorough source base. Evolutional processes in the market - land relations after the abolition of serfdom became the research object. The land market is considered as an important constituent of the process of replacement of the class feudal landownership by the no class democratic landownership mainly through the land purchase-sale at the market. The stages of evolution of the market - land relations in Ukraine are defined; each of them corresponds the certain period of the land market functioning in its conformities to the law and special features of development. Participation in the market-land operations of the representatives of the separate classes and categories of both personal and collective landowners is analyzed in the dissertation. The most active mover of the evolution process of the land market in Ukraine during the second half of the XIX cent. - beginning of the XX cent. is characterized here.
