Essay

The dissertation deals with determination of main age-related regularities of rat bone system morphogenesis under the influence of systematic gravitational overloads and anti-hypergravity protection. It has been established that intensity and directivity of alterations depend on overload multiplicity, animal age and method of anti-hypergravity protection. Multiple gravitational overloads initiate formation of negative bone balance in young and adult rats, cause disturbance of microarchitectonics of trabecular bone. In all age groups systematic hypergravity unfavourably affects bone mineralization, causes macro- and microelement imbalance and destabilization of bone mineral crystal lattice. This leads to alterations of biomechanical properties of bones. Methods of anti-hypergravity protection used in study prevent bone loss, caused by multiple gravitational overloads. Glutargin demonstrated the best osteoprotective effect.
