The principles of conserving the biodiversity by creating a DNA bank were theoretically justified. The expediency of the complex molecular and genetic evaluation of the biological material destined for long-term storage based on the quantitative trait loci (QTL), STR, ISSR-markers and mtDNA was demonstrated experimentally.
