Voronin I. Socio-geographical scientific research of the processes informatization of society

The thesis is devoted to the socio-geographic research into the processes of society informatization. The essence of the process of society informatization has been revealed as a socio-cultural phenomenon of our time. The scientific paper includes the analysis of the existing present-day conceptual models of the processes of society informatization. The author defines the theoretic and methodical fundamentals of the socio-geographic research into the processes of society informatization. The main informational transformations in the society have been elicited, and socio-geographic approaches to their study have been formulated. The methods of socio-geographic substantiation of the state policy in the field of informatization with its structural and logic model have been elaborated. The socio-geographic research into the processes of informatization was conducted on the pattern of Ukraine, which resulted in characterizing the national information and telecommunications system, as well as specifying the primary directions and mechanisms of the government policy in the field of informatization processes administration in Ukraine.
