Lazurenko V. Formation and Development of Peasants’ Farming Enterprises in Ukraine: Socio Economic Aspects (1921 – 1929).

In the thesis, based on the historical sources analysis, the part of which were introduced for the first time, the author researches all embracing the premises of origin, the history of establishment and development of peasants’ farming enterprises and development of peasants’ farming enterprises in Ukraine under conditions of the New Economic Policy having been implemented by the Soviet state. The process of farming establishment is analyzed in the light of many factors, such as economical, socio-political, organizational, industrial and agricultural. The part of the farming management and its significance for the development of the common agrarian sector of economy, and the strengthening of independent peasants’ housekeeping has been set up. Mechanisms and main trends in business activity have been exposed. The conditions of the peasants’ farming enterprises, their socio-economical and political problems which have appeared in the process of development and formation have been fully reviewed. The positive significance of the increasing number of the farming enterprises for the agricultural vendibility has been shown. It was proved that the policy of the Soviet state was aimed at the liquidation of the Ukrainian peasantry dealing with business activity. As a result that aim was implemented.
