The dissertation is the first complex research of the dynamic development of East Slavonic pagan world outlook during VI - XIII centuries in the modern historical science. The processes of foundation, development and transformation of the main East Slavonic pagan world outlook models have been being revealed in the historical connection with social, economic and political life of the East Slavonic society. The ideological sense of the grand duke Vladimir's first religious reform has been revealed in a new way in the dissertation. The reconstruction of the late pagan believes and cults had been fulfilled and their influence on the outlook of the Slavs of the pre-Mongolian period has been analyzed.
