Essay

The current dissertation reveals the structure of the organs of the im-mune system of white laboratory rats exposed to toluene and epihlorohydrin and determine the ways of the correction possible disturbances, applying Thiotriazoline and tincture of Echinacea purpurea. The data obtained by using methods: organometry, light microscopy, histomorphometry, electron microscopy, and geometric morphometry, statistical analysis. It was found that the impact of inhaled toluene and epichlorohydrin reduces the or-ganometric parameters of the thymus and spleen below the control levels. Histological structure of the thymus after exposure to volatile components of epoxy resins leads to the accidental involution of the thymus, and we observed hypertrophy of the lymphoid tissue in the spleen. Injectioned Thiotriazoline and tincture of Echinacea purpurea significaly reduces the effects of toluene and epichlorohydrin.
