Essay

In dissertation on the basis of analysis of historical sources, some of which are introduced to the scientific community for the first time, comprehensively examines the condition of formation and development of higher humanitarian education in Naddnipryanska Ukraine in the second half of the nineteenth - early twentieth century. The process of establishing higher humanitarian education are analyzed in the light of a number of factors - social, political, socio-economic, organizational, legal, cultural and educational. Reconstructed coherent picture of the functioning of liberal education in Naddnipryanska Ukraine.
