Essay

The thesis is devoted to the study of value and worldview priorities of modern educational paradigm. It was found that the decisive determinant of the genesis of education is the concrete historical format of society, so the effectively accomplished functions of education and ongoing development are a priori impossible when ignoring the defining trends of social entity - those megatrends which have decisive, imperative influence on the society formation in general and education as its integral compound part in particular. The ontological conditionality of the leading function of educational development in modern society is revealed, which is explained by qualitatively new scale of determining influence of education on the formation of the realities of the information society. Modern Ukrainian education is in need of answering two-pronged challenge: on the one hand, we are talking about the need to be at the level of requirements of globalized and information society, on the other hand, we must take into account the objective resource limitation which is the result of crisis, social and economic processes within Ukraine and world-wide economic complex. Worldview foundations will be persuasive and therefore educational paradigm will acquire effective features under the condition it takes into consideration and skillfully use interpotentiating action of determinants of the development of education in particular and society in general. The position is conceptualized according to which the effective paradigm of modern education should not be limited only by a certain amount of knowledge and skills but also peculiar, spiritual support of a person in the modern world as the basis of spirituality and self-realization, not only the "culture of thinking", but also the "culture of understanding". Education is one of the most important areas of public policy in Ukraine. The state treats education as a strategic resource of social and economic, cultural and spiritual development of society, improvement of human welfare, ensuring of national interests, strengthening of international prestige and formation of positive image of our country. Education of high quality is a prerequisite for sustainable democratic development of society and the consolidation of all its institutions, humanization of social and economic relations, the formation of a person's new vital reference. For philosophy of education the problem of realization of creative personality s ideal in the process of education has a fundamental importance. Taking inseparable with this ideal the priority value of creative activity, the activity of the subject, aimed at transforming the world is self-evident. This value is the backbone in the culture of industrial society, whose existence is defined by intentions on the creation and application of new technologies, development of means and activity goals, the formation of its new species.
