Object - the process of professional training of prospective engineers-teachers; the aim - to substantiate theoretical and methodological foundation of scientific-methodological system of prospective engineers-teachers' innovative culture forming and to experimentally test its influence on the level of their professional training; methods - theoretical, empirical, of mathematical statistics; novelty - the research has been the first to provide scientific substantiation and experimental testing of methodological system of prospective engineers-teachers' innovative culture forming, theoretical foundation of prospective engineers-teachers' innovative culture has been investigated; definitions of pedagogical innovation and criteria basis for revealing the level of prospective engineers-teachers' innovative culture formation have been specified; the substantiation of the structure of prospective engineers-teachers' innovative competence and the aspects of system analysis applying for finding out the level of prospective engineers-teachers' innovative competence formation have been analysed; results - the scientific-methodological system of prospective engineers-teachers' innovative culture forming has been used in the process of teaching. The Structure and content of the course" Innovative Technologies in Education and their methodological support means" based on the optional teaching course" Engineer-teacher's innovative culture" (the teaching manual was approved by the Ministry for Science and Education of Ukraine), the workbook, methodological recommendations for preparing control term papers, practical classes and individual learning have been worked out, the teaching manual "Pedagogical Foundation of Methodological Support Means" presents the chapter on "Innovative Technologies in Professional Training of Highly Skilled Professionals" designed by the author of the dissertation; field - pedagogy.
