Filinyuk A. Right-Bank Ukraine in the end of XVIII – beginning of the XIX century: incorporation into the Russian empire.

The thesis deals with the study of social and civilization changes in Right-Bank Ukraine at the turn of XVIII – XIX centuries, caused by joining the Russian Empire and deployment of incorporation tsarism policy to absorption in its state structures. Based on an objective analysis of archival, published sources, historiography achievements the place of big Ukrainian region in autocracy politics, especially the military, political and legal support of Russian expansion is thoroughly studied. The ways, methods and features of the formation of the imperial state, political and legal field are revealed. Administrative arrangement of this territory by Russian models, development of authorities’ infrastructure, and reorganization of government, judiciary, their impact on integration and unification of social life are studied. It is noted that Right-Bank Ukraine acted as a factor of foreign policy vector changes from north to south, of the metropolis benefit of geopolitical opportunities.7452
