Object - constipation in children; purpose - to improve the results of treatment of children with constipation by developing new approaches to diagnosis and restorative and reconstructive surgery techniques; methods - clinical, biochemical, laboratory, mental instruments, radiographic, functional diagnostics, morphological, experimental, mathematical-statistical; results - first defined clinical and anatomical features of chronic constipation pediatric patients of different ages, depending on the cause, scientifically designed and developed new approaches to the use of effective methods of diagnosis, conservative and surgical treatment of thick-intestinal transit, prevention of post-operative complications; substantiated and proved the value of transverse folds of the rectum and anatomical relief in the event of an act of defecation disorders, conditions and mechanisms of their compensatory abilities, developed and implemented a new original method of intraoperative playing transverse folds of the rectum, the first time a mathematical model of colonic disorders pas-sage, which confirms the need to perform the proposed method of pelvic proctoplasty, a new way of X-functional diagnosis of distal colon in chronic constipation by performing polypositional irrigography, developed and implemented the original method of minimally invasive plastic neorektum in her sinus and sinus forms without atresia based on maintaining the anatomical components of the anal sphincter; branch – medicine.
